Updating arecord in access form
Once the view editor is open, select "Form Rules" from the left side menu, and then select the “Record Rules” tab from the top.
Once on the "Record Rules" tab in the view editor, you can select “Add Rule” and you have added your first record rule.
To start, navigate to the "Pages" section of your Knack Builder, and select a form view to open the view editor.
(Note: if you close the form with the [X] at the right end of the form's title bar, you do receive a warning that the record cannot be saved.
Typically the problem occurs when you place a Close command button on your form.) There are many reasons why a record could not be saved, such as: #1 fails if the form does not have focus.
Now that you have added a record rule, you can define what it does.
This is done by defining the action, when it will run, and which values the rule updates.
